Bugatti's New Black Car

La Voiture Noire

          At the 2019 Geneva motor show which is the most happening event of the year for an automobile company & an automobile enthusiast, Bugatti divulged it's vastly anticipated and the most expensive car ever made in the world. This car costs nearly about $19 million, yeah you read that right, and it's a one of one car so it's the only one in existence and even if you somehow had $19 million lying in your bank you still got no chance to buy this car cause it is already been owned before it was revealed at the Geneva motor show.

 

          So the car is named La Voiture Noire which signifies The Black Car. Bugatti made this startling piece of art in the celebration of their 110th anniversary & to give homage to the legendary Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic. It was designed by Jean Bugatti son of Ettore Bugatti in the year 1936. This car was a piece of art itself, comprising of 3.3 liter 8 cylinder engine producing 220bhp with the top speed of  200kmph and sleek & long hood design. It was known as the first supercar ever made. The body was constructed in 2 pieces and was riveted to joint the two pieces which can be seen as the centerline on the car There's no doubt that this car is the epitome of elegance. Only 4 of this cars were made & the 4th one was kept by Jean himself as his personal car. As the legend goes, his car was lost during the war while transferring the car from Molsheim to Bordeaux. The existence of the car is still unknown. Some believe the car is still out there somewhere, some say it's been destroyed in the war. Well, that's enough about the old automobile.

       

          The 2019 La Voiture Noire uses the same engine form Chiron which is 8.0 liters quad turbo charged W16 engine eliciting 1,500bhp & 1,180 lb-ft of torque that makes the go from 0-60 in less then 3 sec, the transmission is 7 speed dual clutch system  and an improved chassis design that too from the Chiron, the 6 tail pipe exhaust which has been acquired from the type 57SC Atlantic.

       

          This car is undoubtedly the most distinctive car made by Bugatti since past 5 years.
